This pattern of Ridley the Raccoon toy is available as a chart or a written pattern giving you the choice of which instructions to follow.

All pattern PDF’s are available in full color. Patterns are suited to the advanced beginner or the intermediate knitter. The front and back are knit flat and seemed together. You’ll also do a little sewing to attach the button eyes, nose, arms, legs, tail, and ears. You will use the knit stitch, purl stitch, casting on, casting off, increasing, and decreasing.

Materials needed:
Set of 4 double-pointed needles (US 5, or slightly smaller size than recommended on ball band)
KnitPicks Swish Worsted (or similar for colors needed)
Poly fill or other stuffing material
Stitch holders
Darning needle
Two large buttons for eyes
Contrast thread
Wool felt for arms, legs, ears and tail
