Rie
Rie is light, airy and just a bit edgy. It’s the perfect layering piece to add drama to any ensemble. Its simple construction makes it ideal for beginners. Depending on your yarn choice, you can layer it as a summer garment or work it in bulky weight yarn and use it for colder seasons.
It is worked in the round from the bottom up to the armholes, then the front and back are worked separately and seamed at the shoulders. The shoulders are seamed so that you can easily adjust the neck opening to your liking.
This pattern originally appeared in KnitPicks Aura Spring Collection. Now it comes with updated sizing and an expanded size range, designed to fit actual bust size of 76 cm / 30 inches to 167.5 cm / 66 inches. Measurements are given in both centimeters and inches.
