Cables together with lace pattern is an interesting match you don’t want to miss.
The bulky scarf is a bold choice for that special perfect gift!
Level: Intermediate / Advanced
The pattern includes step by step photo tutorial (and partial chart) for crocheting cables - but make sure this is not your first time crocheting post stitches. Previous experience in making post stitches (and/or cables) is needed for intermediate crocheters.
For more advanced crocheters - there’s a text version of the scarf available for easy and printable download.

Chain (ch);
Single crochet (sc);
Double crochet (dc);
Front Post Double Crochet (FPdc);
