Size: Adult 18”-22”; brioche is a very lofty and flexible stitch and the size can easily be adjusted by going up or down a needle size

Yarn: approximately 95 yards each of the MC and CC of a worsted weight yarn

Needles: US size 6 (4.0 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions: DPNs or longer cable needle (for magic loop) for decreases; cable needle (optional); stitch markers (optional); tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge: 3.5 stitches and 6 rows = 1 inch in brioche rib

Techniques: Cast On, knitting two color brioche, brk, brp, Brioche Cable Left (brcl), Brioche Cable Right (brcr), Brioche Central double decrease (brcdd), Brioche left slanting decrease (brLsl dec), Brioche right slanting decrease (brRsl dec)

Errata (1/30/2018): Abbreviation: Brssk - Brioche slip slip knit. Slip two stitches as if to knit, remembering that the brioche stitch and its yarn over counts as one (1) stitch. Then knit these two slipped stitches together through the back loop. Performed just like a normal knitting ssk.
