What? This is the Rigoletto, a crochet shawl pattern.

Why? I knew that I was joining my husband on a work trip to Milan and Florence in May, so I decided to design this shawl to bring with me with plans to visit La Scala Opera House. Luckily, the weather was perfect for this shawl and my jaunts around town as I tried to blend in with the Italian residents.

Who might enjoy it? Anyone who loves shawls! It is large enough to engulf the wearer around the shoulders and more and can be worn as a scarf as well.

What you need: You will need about 2300 yards of fingering yarn, colours of your choice. The pattern is broken down for 5 colours, a 3.5 mm hook and a knowledge of the herringbone half double crochet stitch.

Qu’est-ce que c’est? Le Rigoletto, un patron de châle au crochet.

Pourquoi? Je savais que je rejoindrais mon mari lors d’un voyage de travail à Milan et à Florence en mai, alors j’ai décidé de concevoir ce châle pour m’accompagner lors de mon séjour avec l’objectif de visiter le Théâtre La Scala. Heureusement, le temps était parfait pour ce châle et pour mes escapades en ville alors que j’essayais de ne pas paraître la touriste parmi les résidents italiens.

Qui aimerait? Les personnes qui adorent les châles! Il est assez large pour bien envelopper le corps et peut se porter comme foulard aussi.

Vous aurez besoin: D’environ 2110 m de fingering, couleurs aux choix. Le patron a été conçu pour une combinaison de 5 couleurs, un crochet 3.5 mm et une connaissance du point arête au crochet. (Vidéo disponible sur YouTube via notre site web)
