Riki is the most famous, brave and charismatic Nopon from the game Xenoblade Chronicles, so of course, I had to make him! It was hard finding good reference pictures for his clothes, so he’s not completely accurate, but maybe somebody out there will find some love for him anyways!

Materials
To make Riki you will need:
– A Crochet hook, 2.5mm
– Orange yarn for the body and a bit of a more reddish orange for the hair; white, pink, yellow, blue and purple yarn for the clothes; cream, light brown and pink colored felting wool for the stomach and mouth (you could crochet/embroider this, too)
– A tapestry needle and scissors
– Stuffing
– Safety eyes
– A stitch marker to help you keep track of the start of the round
Please note that you can make Riki using any size crochet hook and yarn weight for a smaller or bigger result. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook, Rikishould be about 20cm tall (that hair!).

Stitches & Abbreviations
The pattern is written using US crochet terms in continuous spirals. You will need to know the following kinds of stitches to make him:
– Chaining (Ch)
– Magic Ring (MR)
– Single crochet (sc)
– Decrease (dec); preferably using the invisible decrease method
– Increase (inc)
– Slip stitch
