Meet Riko, a little guy who’s dream is to look like a scary vampire - although he knows he’s too cute. Try to look horrified and you will make him the happiest vampire in the world ;)
Riko’s name comes from vrikólakas (βρυκóλακας) which means “vampire” in Greek.
LANGUAGE:
English (US terminology)
MATERIALS:
-Cotton yarn in 4 colors
-Thread of a thinner black yarn (or you can split the yarn)
-Crochet hook for the yarn you use (I used a 2,5mm hook)
-Stitch marker or a thread of yarn
-Scissors
-Tapestry needle
-Soft toy stuffing
SIZE:
If made with suggested yarn and hook, Riko will be approximately 11 cm | 4.30 inches tall.
LEVEL:
Advanced beginner
SKILLS NEEDED:
-Basic crochet stitches like chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet. Also, spike sc stitch which is explained in the pattern.
-You should know how to: work in rows, make a magic ring, work in continuous rounds (spiral), do color changes, sc increase and sc (invisible) decrease.
-Basic sewing skills to sew parts together.
