Everyone… I would like you to meet Riley the Stegosaurus. Riley is a big and plump stego, which makes him fantastic for cuddling. This big guy would be perfect for any dinosaur lover, no matter the age!

He is roughly 16 inches in length and 8 and 1/2 inches from feet to plate, however, depending on the type of yarn and hook size you use his size will vary. If you find the plates on his back are too big I would suggest one hook size smaller.

Gauge is not really all that important with Riley. Just be sure to keep your tension the same throughout.

Materials needed:

• Yarn - Worsted Weight 4 - I chose three colors
• Hook - G 4mm
• Stitch Marker
• Safety Eyes - 10mm
• Polyfil
• Yarn Needle
• Scissors

I used roughly 3/4 of a skein of Crafter’s Secret for the orange, and I used left overs from the blue and green skeins.

Riley has been tested by several pattern testers and is ready to be yours.
