This is a light yet cozy cocoon-style wrap cardigan with a generous fit. The cotton fingering yarn creates a gorgeous drape, and works up to be very soft. The pattern is created to show off a gradient yarn to best advantage, but it is perfectly suited to plain yarn. It can also be lovely in broad stripes.

The pattern is suited for an intermediate crochet skill level, or a confident beginner. The whole wrap is made in a single piece, with almost no sewing at all.

The design allows for very flexible sizing, and will fit a variety of bodies. You may use a smaller or larger hook, or slightly thicker yarn to adjust sizing up or down to suit you. I crochet very loosely, and used a 3,5mm hook on the sample.

If you want to make it for larger sizes (up to any size you want), simply add more repeats until you get to the size you want - it’s unlimited. I can’t say exactly how much extra yarn you’d need though. That’s up to you :)

For a M/L size, I used a little less than a full cake of Twirls Deluxe. The sample is in nr. 25 Edcora Red.

Using a 3,5mm hook:
Adult M/L (US 8/10, EU 42/44)
Shoulder: approx. 39-41cm/15-16” width
Chest: 92-96cm/36-40”
Length from shoulder: ca. 80cm/31”

Thank you!
