Crisp twisted ribbing plus squishy garter stitch equals a really pleasing little pair of fingerless mitts. Made in a long-color-changing gradient yarn, these are super-special.

Yarn: Approximately 160 yards of light fingering-weight yarn. Sample shown in Crystal Palace Mini Mochi yarn in color 105 Tapestry Rainbow.
Needles: US 2 (3 mm) needle for knitting in the round. You can use DPNs, 2 circulars, or 1 circular, whatever your preferred method may be.
Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch markers.
Gauge: 7.5 sts and 10 rounds per 1” in stockinette stitch.
Skill level: Advanced beginner.
Finished measurements: 7” long, 7” around (3.5” across when laid flat) at base of thumb.
One size fits most.
