This is a pattern for a simple round bag decorated with a ring of colourful flower appliques. It’s a perfect everyday little girl’s bag.

This pattern uses UK (ch, dc, htr, and tr sts)/US (ch, sc, hdc and dc sts) and works up really quickly, so is ideal for beginners. My pattern includes lots and LOTS of photograph to help you through each step. It made in a 100% Cotton DK yarn but you could use a bigger or smaller yarn with a corresponding hook to alter the size of the bag.

Gauge is not important for this pattern, but should be tight enough so that nothing can fall through the bag.
