Die Tunika wird aus einem Farbverlaufsgarn von 100farbspiele sowie einem dazu passenden einfarbigen Garn (ich habe ein Garn von Lady Dee verwendet) in Streifen gestrickt. Sie hat eine leicht ausgestellte Form und wird von oben nach unten ganz ohne Nähte mit Kugelärmeln nach einer Variation der Contiguous-Methode von Susie Myers gestrickt. Länge ca. 62 cm.

Für die Größe 44/46 werden ca. 900m eines Farbverlaufsgarn, sowie ca. 190m eines dazu passenden einfarbigen Garns benötigt. Die Anleitung enthält Größentabellen mit Reihen-, Maschen- und Garnverbrauchsangaben für die Schulterbreiten 30-50 cm sowie Brustumfang 80-150 cm.

Stricknadeln:
Nadelstärke 3,5 (80 cm lang)
Nadelstärke 3 (40 cm lang für die Ärmel, 60 cm lang für den Ausschnitt)

Die Anleitung besteht vor allem aus zusammenfassenden Erläuterungen der einzelnen Strickabschnitte und Beschreibungen Reihe für Reihe. Zusätzlich gibt es eine ausführliche allgemeine Beschreibung der Contiguous-Methode mit vielen Bildern und Größentabellen zum Umrechnen der Maße.

The pullover is knitted with a beautiful gradient yarn of fingering weight (I used 100farbspiele) and a fitting uni colored yarn (I used a fitting color by Lady Dee Traumgarne) in color stripes. It has an A-line shape and is worked seamlessly top-down in one-piece. Its shape is achieved by using a variation of the Contiguous method by Susie Myers. Length ca. 24.5‘‘ (62 cm).

Yardage (for bust 43’’):
ca. 984 yards (900 m) of a gradient yarn of fingering weight;
ca. 208 yards (190 m) of a fitting uni colored yarn of fingering weight

The pattern contains further information (number of rows and sts, estimated yardage) for additional sizes:
Shoulder length 11.8’’-19.7’’ (30 - 50 cm)
Bust: 31.5’’ - 59’’ (80 - 150 cm).

Needles:
Size US 4 (3.5mm) (length 30’’ (80 cm))
Size US 2.5 (3mm) (length 15’’ (40 cm) for the sleeves, length 24’’ (60 cm) for the collar)

The pattern consists of descriptions row by row and some more general explanations of the different sections. In addition, you find a very detailed description of the Contiguous method with pictures and tables of row / stitch numbers and yardage for different sizes.
