This cowl pattern features two different stitches. The focal stitch is an ornate cable, and it is surrounded by a small 2 stitch pattern that sets it off perfectly. The finished cowl measures 8.25 inches X 56 inches (however, the length can be adjusted easily.) The cable stitch is both charted, and written out line by line. There are also instructions for an optional crocheted edging, contained within the pattern.
Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of both knitting, purling, and cable knitting.)
The yarn used in the sample is made with Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport in colorway, Fjord.
The wrap was expertly pattern tested by Barbara Robertson, who can be contacted at: Barb. Robertson@gmail.com, and who is known on Ravelry as NanaKnits4Us.
