Ripple
Happy Spring 2018 - This is a free pattern as of today till the end of May 2018.
Ripple is a knitted cape that remains in place due to the nature of the shaping, the tacked down sleeve seams and the use of fingering sock yarn. If you substitute yarns, the stripe pattern will be highlighted better if the main color is a semi-solid and the contrast color is a variegated. The nice thing about this pattern is you only need two skeins of sock yarn (think stash buster). The cape begins at the neck edge with 48 stitches and a US 6 needle and grows to 344 sts on a US 8 circular needle. The pattern includes row by row instructions and detailed directions on the applied I-Cord.
