Ripple Flower Applique

A “ripple” effect is created in these pretty little flowers by using front and back post double crochets. A fun new twist to a simple flower. If you have never used a post stitch, a link to a tutorial is included.
Materials used:
Crochet Hook: US I (5.5 mm)
Any worsted weight yarn
Scissors
Yarn Needle
Stitches Used:
(ch) chain, (sl st) slip stitch, (sc) single crochet, (hdc) half-double crochet, (fphdc) front post half double crochet, (bphdc) back post half double crochet, (fpdc) front post double crochet, (bpdc) back post double crochet
