This pattern has been tested and every effort has been made to ensure its accuracy. Hat is crocheted with worsted weight yarn. I would say that this is an advanced beginner project and should take approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete the first time. Experience working in the round is helpful. I used Vanna’s Choice on all my hats. I have tons of leftovers and the colors coordinate so beautifully. There are endless possibilities in terms of how many colors to use. I do not discuss color changing in the pattern. I leave that creative part to you. However, I will be more than happy to help you via email or Ravelry if help is needed. Adding rounds can make this hat slouchier if that is desired. If you don’t like to do a gauge swatch, and who does, I have included approximate measurements after certain rounds so you know whether or not you are in the ballpark.
