Ripple Mitten
by Emma Harling
This is a variation of a Norwegian mitten called Selbuvotter, which dates back to the 1800s. I have been wearing mittens of this style throughout my life, knit by the women in my family. They are a decorative addition to any winter outfit, and excellent in cold weather. The Ripple mitten is a new design based on a traditional knitting instruction.
