CROCHET PATTERN to make a Ripple Stitch Soap Sack with Hanging Loop that also serves as a closure for the soap bag. Works up QUICK and makes a great housewarming gift or eco-friendly product for selling at craft fairs! EASY TO UNDERSTAND directions with in-progress photos. Instant Download, 2 page PDF file.
This pattern was designed with a purpose, to help provide fun and easy soap sack patterns for S.A.C.K. (Supporting A Community with Kindness), which was started as a grassroots effort to connect people from all over the world while crocheting/knitting soap sacks and then donating them (with a bar of soap in each one) to homeless shelters, food pantries, veteran clinics, relief efforts and social service agencies. Visit Soapsacks.com for more information if you would like to get involved!
