The Ripple Top is a real winner. Pattern includes sizes for Small, Medium, Large/X-Large and recently added size 1X-2X (sizes fit busts from 30 - 52”). The yoke and hems are done in a Ripple Stitch pattern and is a variation of the Wave Stitch. I didn’t create the stitch, but have adapted it here for the purpose of resembling a lacy crocheted-look stitch. It is done on a Bulky knitting machine through hand-manipulation. It will show off a variegated or ombre yarn nicely and will be cool for summer with its lacy hem and cap sleeves. Additionally, if you want a longer sleeve, I have recently added instructions for a bell-shape sleeve with a Ripple Stitch hem. Also, to make it a dress, just add more rows of knitting to the body (I added 100 rows in the second picture to get a below the knee dress). With minimal finishing, you will love to wear this one with jeans as well as under a suit jacket for Sunday Best!
