The Ripple Tote bag, designed in collaboration with
Crate Crochet, is a design I’ve wanted to make for a very long time. Made from 100% organic cotton, the bag features a unique ripple stitch that captures the beauty of the Australian coastline.

The bag comes in two sizes: a small market/hobby size and a large beach bag style. Instructions are provided for customising the height of your bag.

The gauge for this project isn’t too important as the design is quite slouchy and will stretch over time.

I’ve used a beautiful Cottonwood organic cotton for this project - with a lot of use, the bag still holds it’s shape and is really strong!

Depending on the size of your bag, I recommend:

• 2 x Colour A, 1 x Colour B and C for the small size
• 3 x Colour A, 2 x Colour B and C for the large size.

You may only need 2 balls of Colour A for the large size, but there is an option (and instructions) for adding tassels to use any leftover yarn.
