Ripple Wave Socks
Oh how I love a ripple, and this pattern gives you double the ripple love, or quadruple if you count each sock for 2 pairs!
I have included both Fingering-Weight and DK-weight versions of the pattern. They are written as separate patterns, but when you purchase the pattern you will receive both.
This pattern is based on the pattern stitch of my Ripple Wave Fingerless Mitts, however the pattern row is adjusted for making both a Fingering-Weight Version (60 stitches) and a DK-Weight Version (44 stitches).
For the Fingering-Weight socks, you will need approximately 350-420 yards, depending on how high you like your sock on your leg.
The DK-Weight socks takes approximately 290 yards.
The gauge for the two weights are:
Fingering Yarn - 28 sts = 4” in stockinette in the round.
DK Yarn - 23 sts = 4” in stockinette in the round.
-- All proceeds I receive from this pattern will be donated to Doctor’s Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières. --
