A pretty crochet blanket pattern with two variations!

This was a mother-daughter venture. I created the blanket with wide stripes in two colours, and my daughter created the blue variation.

This afghan is crocheted with wide wavy stripes, using a simple ripple pattern and popcorn stitch. Finished size is approximately 60 x 44” (152 x 101 cm).

The pattern includes instructions for the popcorn stitch, as well as pattern changes for making the narrower-striped blue variation.

The blanket is relatively easy, but you should be familiar with double crochet and chain stitches. Instructions are provided for the popcorn stitch and a single crochet decrease.
