One way to bust through your stash is to knit simple accessories, such as wraps and scarves. Applying a lace stitch pattern to the rectangular shape of this type of neckwear adds interest to the knitting. The wrap or scarf can be knit in a single color, or knitters can play with their stash and combine coordinating or contrasting colors. If the knitter wants to experiment with mohair, baby suri alpaca, or marling, two strands of yarn can be held together. The stitch pattern is based on Chart #32 in the Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible.
