Directions are provided to knit a cowl that is provisionally cast-on, worked flat and seamed by either grafting or using a three needle bind-off. The cowl can be knit in either a small or large size; the directions are written for the small size, with the large size directions in (). Alternative directions are also provided to knit a scarf, or a cowl with a sewn seam.
