July 2023 - an updated version of the English version of the Ripples sweater has been uploaded. This new version contains some textual improvements/clarifications for the decreases for the neckline (front and back).

February 2023 - I have uploaded an updated version of the Ripples sweater. This new version contains some textual improvements and I’ve included instructions for size 2XL.

The design for this jumper was inspired by a sandy beach, with the ripples in the water caused by the wind, in which the light reflects in several shades of blue, green, turquoise and purple.

This jumper is knitted in jumper weight. It is knitted in the round from the bottom up. From the armholes upwards, front and back are worked separately, knitting back and forth.

The jumper has dropped shoulders and a positive ease for casual comfort.
It comes in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL and 2XL with the following approximate measurements:
Circumference: 104 cm (XS), 109 cm (S), 114 cm (M), 125 cm (L), 135 cm (XL), 145 cm (2XL) after blocking.
Length: 55 cm (XS), 56 cm (S), 58 cm (M), 59 cm (L) 60 cm (XL), 61 cm (2XL), after blocking.

Tension: 23 stitches and 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm on needles size 3.25 mm after blocking.

The entire jumper is knitted on needles 3.25 mm, except for the neckband which is knitted on 3 mm.

Materials
Uradale Yarns Jumper Weight (100% Organic native Shetland wool, ±173 m – 50 g) in the following colours:
Glansin 300-450 g, Speedwell 25 g, Speedwell Heath 25 g, Sundew Heath 25 g, Bilberry Heath 25 g, Bluebell Heath 25 g, Forget-Me-Not Heath 25 g.
Uradale Yarns Jumper Weight is available in balls with a minimum weight of 25 g. Of all the contrast colours approximately 10 g per colour is used.

Februari 2023 - ik heb een nieuwe versie van de Ripples-sweater in mijn Ravelry store geüpload. Deze nieuwe versie bevat een paar tekstuele verbeteringen en de instructies voor een nieuwe maat, namelijk maat 2XL.

Het ontwerp van deze trui is geïnspireerd op een zandstrand, waar rimpelingen in het water ontstaan door de wind, waarin het licht reflecteert in verschillende tinten blauw, groen, turquoise en paars.

De trui wordt van beneden naar boven in het rond gebreid tot aan de armsgaten. Vanaf dat punt worden rug- en voorpand apart verder gebreid (heen en weer).

De trui heeft recht ingezette mouwen en is ruimvallend.
Het patroon is uitgeschreven in de maten XS, S, M, L, XL en 2XL met de volgende afmetingen:
Omtrek: 104 cm (XS), 109 cm (S), 114 cm (M), 125 cm (L), 135 cm (XL), 145 cm (2XL), na het blocken.
