The Ripples and Waves Sweater and Matching Pom-Pom Hat is part of a set created for a special wee one recently.
The ripples and waves pattern is a unique design that is easily adapted to baby garments. I combined this pattern with cables and the end result is a charming cardigan and hat that can be knit for either a girl or a boy.
The hat that I designed to accompany the cardigan is adorned with two pom-poms on either side of the flat-top toque. The design in the toque is the same as the sweater.

Also available in the Ripples and Waves design is a Baby Blanket that is knit in a heavier weight yarn.
For a short time you can purchase the sweater and hat set and get the blanket pattern at no extra cost. Just put both into your basket to purchase and you will be charged for only the Sweater and Hat design. This promotion will end on April 30, 2017.

Truly an easy design to knit and a HIT with the mother who receives it for her baby!

My sincere apologies that I have no available baby to photograph so had to resort to using Bert as a substitute! The shape of his head is not exactly suitable for this darling toque! :)
