Ripples in the Ocean
Ripples in the Ocean is a sport weight shawl inspired by rippling water and ocean waves. It is a large cosy shawl featuring a variety of stitch patterns to keep this a fun and interesting knit including sections of mosaic knitting and finishing with a simple lace section.
Yarn:
The sample used a total of 1012yds / 927m of sport weight yarn in the following amounts:
Colour A – 100g (355yds/325m): Primrose Yarn Co Sport in a OOAK colourway (355yds/325m per 100g)
Colour B – 100g (355yds/325m): La Bien Aimée in “Ash” (355yds/325m per 100g)
Colour C – 85g (302yds/277m): La Bien Aimée in “Le Petit Nuage” (355yds/325m per 100g)
Recommended Needle Size: 32” or longer 4mm (US Size 6) circular needle, or appropriate size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 22 sts / 29 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in stockinette stitch
Finished Measurements: Depth: 35” / 89cm. Width: 70” / 178cm.
