Subtle knit/purl texture and simple lines give a casual yet put-together look to this raglan pullover. A placket at the hem provides a perfect opportunity to show off some favorite buttons. The placket can be buttoned for a closer fit or left open for more of an A-line shape.

This sweater is knit from the bottom up, starting with the hem worked back and forth, then joined in the round for the remainder. Sleeves are knit separately and joined to rest of the body for the raglan yoke. The pattern is written and not charted.

Errata added 10/27/21:
The Joining Rnd in the Yoke section is missing the instruction to join the sts of the second sleeve. The correct Joining Rnd should read as follows:

Joining Rnd: With yarn and needles still attached to Body, work Broken Rib Pattern to 5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 8) sts from side M, PM, Sl next 10 (10, 12, 12, 14, 16, 16) sts to scrap yarn or st holder, removing side M when you come to it, work Broken Rib Pattern across all sts of first sleeve, PM, work Broken Rib Pattern to 5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 8) sts from end, PM, Sl next 10 (10, 12, 12, 14, 16, 16) sts to scrap yarn or st holder, removing BOR M when you come to it, work Broken Rib Pattern across all sts of second sleeve, PM.
