Risso's Dolphin
This is a great amigurumi pattern featuring the RIsso’s Dolphin, thousands of these beautiful animals are slaughtered every year in Japan. This pattern is scientifically accurate as possible and uses invisible decreases to create the sharp edge of the dolphin’s spine going down to his flukes. Requires intermediate amigurumi skills to complete including sc, dc, hdc, treble, increase, decrease, and invisible decrease (there is a tutorial for that stitch inside). Lots of explanatory pictures and tips and tricks inside!
I am a marine ecology teacher and pride myself on highly accurate patterns. This is a great little pattern with lots of pictures and instructions. All patterns are a part of my SoftScience line.
$1.00 from the sale of each pattern will be donated to Sea Shepherd - Operation Infinite Patience to combat the slaughter of whales and dolphins in Taiji, Japan.
This is a PDF file, not an actual dolphin or a paper pattern.
