This shawlette was designed just in time for the Blue Ridge Yarn Crawl where my event exclusive colorway, Happy Hollow, was featured.

Row by row instructions guide you through this asymmetrical shawlette which features simple texture in the garter and offset ribbing pattern sections, and is dotted with garter bobbles and large eyelets and a touch of colorwork to spice it up. At the end of the pattern are further instructions and a tutorial link to help you master the garter bobble used in the striping section and in the bobble bind off.

I designed this shawlette to use one skein (100g) of fingering weight yarn plus 2 (20g each) contrasting mini skeins, though as you can see, I used the same color for both my minis in the red sample and you could easily use leftovers from previous projects or stash yarn.

Gauge is not crucial for this project at all. There should be plenty of yardage available even if your gauge is different or you choose to knit it larger than written.
