These mitts are a whimsical and quick-to-knit holiday gift using only stockinette stitch. The mitt has approximately a 7.5 inch circumference which fits most hands.

While a 100 gram skein of red Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice and a 100 gram skein of white Bernat Pipsqueak are called for in the pattern, about three pairs of mitts can be made from this amount of yarn. Any red worsted or aran weight yarn leftover from another project could be used, but the Bernat Pipsqueak is perfect in that it creates the fuzzy cuffs.

rdoza developed the pattern and we at Knitpickers of Hays Center group have enjoyed knitting them for the holidays. She has graciously given permission to post the pattern as a freebie on Ravelry.
