El Gorro Rivendel está inspirado en la ciudad de Rivendel del mundo ficticio de El Señor de los Anillos creado por el escritor británico J.R.R. Tolkien. En este mundo mágico, Rivendel es la ciudad de los elfos, seres de una belleza extraordinaria que viven en perfecta comunión con la naturaleza. En Rivendel, no se sabe dónde acaba la arquitectura y dónde empieza la vegetación. Es todo armonía, serenidad, paz, delicadeza y cuidado por el detalle.

El gorro comienza con un elástico retorcido y está formado por una serie de columnas con rosetones que se cierran en una serie de arcos y cúpulas, todo hecho con puntos retorcidos y calados.

HILADO
Woolly Héritage 488 de DMC (100% merino superwash) (125 m/50 g) o cualquier otro hilado de grosor DK de composición similar. Necesitarás unos 200 m.
En la muestra se ha usado el color 09.

MATERIALES

• Agujas circulares de 3,75 mm (o las necesarias para obtener la muestra de tensión) y cable de 40 cm.
• Cable de 80 cm para hacer magic loop o agujas de doble punta del mismo tamaño que las anteriores.
• Marcadores.
• Aguja lanera.

MUESTRA DE TENSIÓN
24 p y 30 vtas en un cuadrado de 10 x 10 cm en punto jersey DESPUÉS de bloquear.

MEDIDAS FINALES

• Circunferencia: 50 cm (ten en cuenta que un gorro debe tener holgura negativa).
• Alto: 24 cm.

Dado que el motivo no permite montar más o menos puntos, puedes modificar las medidas finales usando agujas más grandes o más pequeñas o cambiando el grosor del hilado.

The Rivendell Hat is inspired by the city of Rivendell in the fictitious world of The Lord of the Rings created by the British writer J.R.R. Tolkien. In this magical world, Rivendell is the city of the elves, beings of extraordinary beauty who live in perfect harmony with nature. In Rivendell, it’s impossible to tell where the architecture ends and the vegetation begins. It is all harmony, serenity, peace, delicacy, and attention to detail.

The hat begins with twisted ribbing and is shaped by a series of columns with rose motifs and finishing in a series of arches and domes, all made with twisted stitches and lacework.

YARN
Woolly Héritage 488 from DMC (100% merino superwash) (125m/50g) or any other DK weight yarn of a similar composition. You will need approximately 200m.
The sample shown used the colour 09.

MATERIALS

• 3.75mm circular needles (or size needed to get gauge) and a cable of 40cm.
• Cable of 80cm to work in magic loop or DPN’s of the same size as above.
• Stitch markers.
• Tapestry needle.

GAUGE
24sts x 30 rnds gives a square of 10 x 10cm in stockinette stitch AFTER blocking.

FINAL MEASUREMENTS

• Circumference: 50cm (bear in mind that a hat should have a little negative ease).
• Length: 24cm.

As the motif doesn’t allow you to cast on a different number of stitches, you can adjust the size of the hat by using larger or smaller needles or changing the weight of yarn used.

• German twisted cast-on.
• Knit and purl through the back loop.

Il cappello Rivendell si ispira all’omonima città che appare nel mondo de “Il signore degli anelli”, creato dalla fantasia dello scrittore inglese J.R.R. Tolkien. In questo mondo magico, Rivendell è la città degli elfi, esseri di straordinaria bellezza che vivono in perfetta armonia con la natura. A Rivendell, è impossibile stabilire dove finisce l’architettura e dove inizia la vegetazione. Lì tutto è armonia, serenità, pace, raffinatezza e attenzione ai dettagli.

Il cappello comincia con una costa ritorta ed è sagomato grazie a una serie di colonne con motivi a rose che terminano in una serie di archi e di cupole, tutti realizzati con punti ritorti e traforati.

Woolly Héritage 488 di DMC (100% merino superwash) (125m/50g) o qualunque altro filato di spessore DK con una composizione simile. Avrai bisogno di circa 200.
Per l’esempio mostrato è stato usato il colore 09.

MATERIALI

• Ferri circolari da 3.75mm (o nella misura necessaria per ottenere la tensione desiderata) e un cavo da 40cm.
• Cavo da 80cm per lavorare in magic loop o ferri a doppia punta della stessa misura sopra specificata.
• Marcapunti.
• Ago da lana.

TENSIONE
24m x 30 giri = 10 x 10cm a maglia rasata DOPO il bloccaggio.

MISURE FINALI

• Circonferenza: 50cm (tieni presente che un cappello dovrebbe avere un po’ di agio negativo).
• Lunghezza: 24cm.

Poiché il motivo non consente di avviare un numero diverso di maglie, puoi modificare la taglia del cappello utilizzando ferri più piccoli o più grandi oppure scegliendo un filato diverso.
