Construction
The jacket is worked from the bottom up in three separate pieces: two front panels and one back piece. The shoulders and sides are seamed, and stitches are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are worked from the top down towards the cuff. Stitches are picked up around the front panel edges and the button band is worked in a ribbing before binding off. Optional pockets are knit flat and then seamed to the jacket.
