River Song
River Song scarf was inspired by the legendary River Song, who is one of the most fascinating characters in Doctor Who. She’s a mysterious time-traveling archeologist who hops around the timeline with a vortex manipulator. She has a close relationship with the Doctor - in fact, the two are married. But their relationship is anything but straightforward. The two star-crossed lovers would meet out of time – as it were – so much so they would sync up their meetings with their diaries. Hello Sweetie!
River Song is a triangular scarf, knitted sideways. The timelines are formed by slip stitches that travel from tip to tip. Only one color is used at a time. After the main body is finished, the stitches are picked up along the edge to knit a border. The size of the scarf is easy to adjust by working more or fewer repeats. The pattern can be worked from the written instructions or the charts.
