CONSTRUCTION CIRCULAR:
The River Sweater is worked entirely seamlessly. The fronts and back are cast on at the waist on circular needles and worked in one piece to the armhole, where they are then divided to work separately for the remainder of the body. The shoulder seams are joint with the horizontal invisible seaming technique. Stitches are then picked up around the armhole to work the sleeves in the round from the top down. The neckband is worked by picking up stitches around the neckline to work the neckband in the round.

CONSTRUCTION STRAIGHT:
Construction:
Pattern is worked flat in 4 separate pieces: 1 front panel, 1 back panel and 2 sleeve panels. Close one shoulder seam using the horizontal invisible seam technique. The other shoulder seam is left open to allow you to pick up stitches around the neckline to work the neckband in 1x1 ribbing. After you have done this, sew the remaining shoulder seam. Now attach the sleeves to the body. Join the side edges using the vertical invisible seam technique.

YARN:
Super bulky. Approx 480 meters / 524 yards.

12mm/US17 x 100cm/40” for ribbed band, cuffs (magic loop) and neckband (magic loop)
