The Riverdale Icelandic Sweater is an Icelandic yoke style sweater, knit seamlessly, from the top down, in lace weight yarn. No sewing up is required! Great for a spring nature walk, an autumn bike ride or a summer evening by the campfire. The sweater closes at the back with buttons for easy dressing.

Obitsu 21cm, 22cm and 23cm dolls
Blythe dolls (Takara body)
Licca Dolls (1st Gen, 2nd Gen and Current)


You may use straight needles or a circular needle to knit the yoke and body. The sleeves are knit in the round with double pointed needles, 2 circular needles, or magic loop.

Because the sweater is knit from the top down, it is easy to change the body and sleeve length to fit your particular doll. The dolls in the photos are Ruruko Girls on PNXS bodies (22cm) and a Ruruko boy on a PN Small boy body (23cm).

I have included 2 PDF files. One file contains the written instructions and the yoke chart. The second file contains only the yoke chart and is easier to use if you are reading it from a computer screen or tablet.
