My father is a big part of my life - he’s the man who instilled my passion for reading at a very young age - to this day we share all our books - and often discover new authors together.
When the time came to design a pair of socks just for him, it wasn’t hard to inspiration from our shared passion - and one of our favourite authors, George R. R. Martin. When I discovered the Song of Ice and Fire series in the early ‘90s, I was instantly hooked, with Dad not far behind me. Both of us eagerly await each coming book, and each episode of the HBO adaptation.
As the meandering faux cable wave pattern emerged on these socks, I knew they had to be named for the holdfast of the Tully’s - and Riverrun sock was born.
