River’s Edge Cardigan was inspired by the quiet banks of winding rivers, the simplicity and serene landscapes and flowing life of the river. Taking this and translating it into a cardigan was a balancing act. This seamless knit with collar that is worked with the body, borders a cable that twists and flows down the center of the back. The classic look of a cardigan with an elegant cable makes a timeless piece.

• Cardigan is worked top down in a Raglan Style with 5-7”/12.5-18 cm positive ease in the body and 1.75-2.5”/4.5-6.5 cm in the sleeves.
• It is a seamless design that starts with the collar. Then stitches are picked up along the edge for the body and sleeves.
• Body has minimal shaping.

Yarn
Yardage estimates are rounded up to make sure you have plenty of yarn for your size and for a blocked gauge. Yardage may vary depending on any adjustments made to the pattern.

Needles/Hooks

• US7/4.5mm, 16”/40cm (or DPNs) and 32”/81cm (minimum) circular needles; or size to obtain gauge.
• US6/4mm DPNs; or size to obtain gauge, for sleeve cuffs..
• G/4mm crochet hook; for Cast On.

Gauge
20 sts x 24 rows = 4”/10cm square in Stockinette on US7/4.5mm
