This shawl is ideal in any weight yarn using 2 colors to contrast the slip stitch lines down the center spine.. The pattern is written for a top down construction with a garter stitch tab to start.

The sample photo’d is in DK weight and used size 5 needles. The finished size is 60 inches wide and 24 inches to the point.

Yardage will be different with different weights of yarn and different needle sizes.

This pattern is simply the directions for the 4 row repeat of the shawl and the 3 inch garter stitch edge.
