The Roadrunner cowl was such a fun project for me to dream up. I love the pictorial style of using charts and I have never created an animal. The friendly Roadrunners quickly roam throughout the city and desert landscapes in New Mexico. I love their confidence and intelligence. Roadrunners can be seen in Navajo jewelry and pottery. They symbolize speed, bravery, and endurance. They are a desert animal that deserves our admiration.

This pattern was in collaboration with the Enchanted Yarn Crawl. The logo is that of a Roadrunner which inspired the motif.

Long floats can be found in the motif. I catch my floats every 4 sts to help it feel secure.
