This is a pattern for a bead crochet necklace featuring rectangles that are encased in other rectangles, and all are traveling in reverse. I used bright (almost primary) colors for the sample made, but if you want a more sophisticated look, try making it using metallics. The sample is finished with a manufactured findings, but the pattern includes instructions for alternative finishing techniques, including beaded bead caps. The necklace is made using the slip stitch method of bead crochet, and is made exclusively with size #11 Japanese seed beads. It is crocheted 15-around.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of the slip stitch method of bead crochet)
