The Roaring Fork Hat is worked in the round. It features cables and a diamond design. It can be knit to fit a variety of sizes from a child to an adult. There are two options for the brim, either a fold-over or regular brim.

This hat is named after the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is an almost 6-mile one-way loop road where you can see a variety of wildlife such as bears, deer, birds and more all without leaving the comfort of your vehicle. You will pass historic log cabins, a cemetery, and even what is left of a mountain village.
