Robbie the Rabbit Rattle will measure about:

Height: about 7in / 18cm

Width: about 2.5in / 6cm

You can make it larger or smaller by adjusting the hook and yarn weight.

You will need to know how to do:

Stitches: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet
Increase & decrease
Crochet in rounds

I have used Paris yarn from Drops in the following colours, but you can use any yarn and suitable size hook – the size of the finished item will change according to the yarn & hook used. I try to use a hook one millimetre smaller than the yarn

MATERIALS REQUIRED:

Yarn details: 100% cotton, 50g per ball, Crochet Hook 5mm, Gauge 10x10cm =17st x 22rows

White (Colour 16) – Main Colour

Blue (Colour 10) - Contrast Colour

Black – 1-2 metres for creating eyes

Crochet hook: 2.5 & 3mm

Rattle (if you wish to add to the rabbit’s head), Tapestry needle, Toy Filling, Scissors
