Meet Roberta the Astronaut, the amigurumi toy that inspired my Space Explorers Collection! She is aptly named after the first Canadian woman in space- Roberta Bondar.

I used Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran to create Roberta the Astronaut, but you can use any cotton yarn as long as you correspond your hook to the weight of your yarn.

For this pattern, I used roughly 40g of Misty Grey (a little less than one skein of yarn), 18g of Dolphin Blue (< half a skein of yarn), 10g of Melon Sorbet (< 1), and 35g Champagne White.

The finished toy measures to be about 7.5 in (19cm) tall.
