Roberts Pullover
Although I loved my first version of Roberts made with Shibui Reed, I knew this new sample would also be a quick favorite. I used my new KittyBea, by the Sea Caspersen, an organic cotton and linen blend yarn. This hand-dyed yarn has a soft and even feel, with some structure. The finished garment is truly something special. It keeps intact both the flattering silhouette and lines of the design, with a beautiful drape.
Finished Measurements
At Bust: XS (S/M, L/XL); 48 (56, 64)” ; 122 (142, 162.5)cm
Suggested Fit: 12-20” positive ease.
This is a personal preference, but it is intended to be a very oversized silhouette.
Shown in size S/M with 20” positive ease

Gauge
24 sts and 34 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch, after wet-blocking.
-I do tend to be a tighter knitter, so be sure to take the time to knit a swatch and wet-block it.
Needles
-
32” or 40” circular needles in size needed to obtain gauge, after wet-blocking. Yarn A: US 4 (3.5mm), Yarn B: US 5 (3.75mm)
-
24” circular needles in two sizes smaller than needle used for gauge, for Neckband. Yarn A: US 2.5 (3mm), Yarn B: US 3 (3.25mm)
-
Both size needles, suitable for working small circumferences in the round (if working Sleeves in the round). For example: US 4 & US 2.5
-
One spare size US 4 (3.5mm) or US 5 (3.75 mm), for three-needle BO.
