Garter stitch hat and cardigan/jacket with raglan sleeves.
The cuffs of the sleeves and body of the cardigan and hat are edged with a lace stitch, just enough but not overly fussy.
Could be worn by a new born boy or girl although the hat is very girly it could be adapted for a boy by omitting the lace edge and replacing these rows with garter stitch.
There is only one size but this could be increased by using a thicker wool and larger needles.
I used 2 ½ balls of Debbie Bliss rialto 4ply Merino wool, for easier washing and care I would use an acrylic, but this is a special outfit for a special baby
