The ROBIN sweater is a loose-fitting sweater with wide batwing sleeves. It is lightweight, drapes beautifully and is ideal for combining with high-waisted pants and skirts.

The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. At the beginning, the sweater is worked flat and increases are made at the same time, to shape the V-neck and sleeves. Once the V-neck has been completed, the sweater is worked in the round and the increases for the batwing sleeves are continued. For the armholes, the front and back parts are then worked separately back and forth. After completing the armholes, back and front are then joined again and worked in the round, with centered, double decreases in each round, for the slanted sleeve shaping. The sweater ends with a narrow-ribbed border. For the long sleeve cuffs, stitches are picked up from the side edges of the front and back parts and worked in the round in a rib stitch pattern.

Techniques used: left and right leaning increases, centered double decreases, pick up and knit sts along side edges, binding off acc to the ‚Italian BO method‘.

Sizes
XS (S/M) L/XL (XXL)

Measurements:
Span of batwing sleeves, without cuffs:
approx. 92 (96) 100 (103) cm / 36.2 (37.8) 39.4 (40.5)”
Total length: 53 (55) 57 (59) cm /20.9 (21.7) 22.4 (23.2)”
Depth V-neck: approx. 16,5 (17) 18 (19) cm / 6.5 (6.7)

Thanks to the wide batwing sleeves, the sweater automatically offers a high degree of freedom of movement. It is therefore not necessary to specify a recommended positive ease.
