Robin's Egg Blue Shrug
by Barbara Hurd
Most shrugs fit poorly around the chest and underarm area. I wanted a lacy shrug with comfortable drape that fit well. This yarn allows the lace to open up (across the back) yet not sag (on the sleeves or chest) for a superb fit. The color, drape, and stitch selection come together to create a perfect fit with a scalloped edge and belled sleeves. After completing it, I realized that it was so silky it could be worn as a scarf. I could wear it to a concert as a scarf then put it on as a shrug when I got there, eliminating my usual problem of losing my scarf.
