PDF Crochet Pattern only. Finished toy will be approximately 7 inches tall, though sizes may vary according to stitch size, yarn choice, etc. Finished toy may not be appropriate for very young children, the inner creature (and potential use of LEDs) pose a hazard.
10 page PDF with photos for reference and links to several how-to videos. Pattern includes 2 versions: an all-in-one figure, and one with a flip top that reveals the alien inside.

• Brown yarn (Big Twist in Toffee)
• Beige yarn (Big Twist in Camel)
• Black yarn (body, foot: Big Twist in Black, eyestalk, plunger: 24/7 Cotton in Black)
• Silver yarn (24/7 Cotton in Silver)
• White Yarn (24/7 Cotton in White)
• Light Pink yarn (24/7 in Pink Lemonade)
• Pink Yarn (24/7 in Pink)
• Yellow yarn (Big Twist in Varsity Yellow)
Notions and tools:
• Crochet hook (Clover Hooks: 5.5 mm, 5 mm, 4 mm, and 3.5 mm; or get the set)
• Pipe cleaners (grey or silver)
• Stitch markers (plastic)
• Embroidery needle (plastic or metal)
• Scissors (travel safe scissors)
• Fiberfill: (Poly-fil)
• (optional) LED lights in blue and warm white
• (optional) battery pack/switch for LED lights, with batteries
• (optional) wire strippers

• sc = single crochet
• inc = increase stitch (can be made with any stitch)
• dec = decrease stitch
• hdc = half double crochet
• d3b = double crochet 3 bobble (see VIDEO)
• ch = chain stitch
• sl st OR ss = slip stitch
• sk = skip stitch
• whip stitch
• mattress stitch
• FO = finish off
• IFO = Invisible finish off
• MR = magic ring
