This Robot Family is designed to use your stash of yarn and buttons and odds and ends. Gauge/size is not important.
15-page PDF
These are all designed to be baby/toddler/kids toys. I used 4-ply worsted weight yarn in all the patterns like Red Heart Super Saver and Caron One Pound and size G/4mm, H/5mm and other size hooks. I also encourage you to use rattle boxes, squeaker inserts and crinkle paper to make these super fun.
I give loads of detailed information in my patterns with hints and tips and tricks. Of course, remember safety for baby toys. These specific examples are not baby safe with the embellishments that I have used, but can easily be modified to be made baby friendly.
The smaller two versions are 15 and 16” but can easily be made shorter and I give details on this in my pattern.
The larger version is 26”! He’s a big guy. But, he can also be made short by making shorter legs and torso.
These are written to be very beginner friendly.
